The larger rocket still carries too much of the valuation
The market is too optimistic about Neutron’s contribution after another launch delay. Satellite manufacturing and the pending Iridium acquisition support substantial value, but my twelve-month target is $41.82, even allowing a generous premium for becoming an integrated space company.

Sales can't double next year, so the stock has further to fall
My 2027 sales estimate was too high. Even fast 10% quarterly growth gets Rocket Lab to about $1.45 billion next year. Weighting a Neutron launch against another slip, I see $42.16 a share, about 24% below today.

The rocket delay leaves too much sales in the share price
Neutron’s first flight slipped into 2027 and cash still burns. At $55 the stock needs about 23 times 2027 sales; I model $1.32 billion of 2027 revenue at 16 times, a $38 share.

Neutron delay and acquisition dilution expose stretched valuation
We initiate coverage on Rocket Lab with a Strong Sell rating and a $36.00 target. Neutron's launch delay into 2027, dilutive Iridium financing, and gross margin compression make the stock's 28 times sales multiple unsustainable.

A delayed rocket and a big deal leave too much hope in the stock
Rocket Lab prices 17 times 2027 combined sales before Neutron flies or Iridium closes. I see 27% downside to $40.06 on slower payoff and dilution.
