The power detour must not drain the gas business
The market is too pessimistic about next year's LNG profits. I retain Buy but lower my twelve-month target to $14.32 because the proposed power business adds funding uncertainty before it adds contracted earnings.

The fee on unsold gas, not the AI pitch, decides this stock
At $12.51 the price needs Venture Global to sell its uncontracted LNG at about $7 per MMBtu in 2028, after the rich startup cargoes end. My $7.25 assumption gives $13.63, so I cut the rating to hold.

Power islands do not change the 2027 plant multiple
The $17 billion equipment frames are optional through 2034 and add no 2027 cash. I still model $10.5 billion of 2027 EBITDA at 7.5 times, a $13.80 stock, a market-like return from $12.51.

Uncontracted power expansion and margin roll-off balance risk-reward near target
With shares down nearly 6% toward our unchanged $12.00 price target, the implied return narrows to -4.1%, balancing risk and reward. We downgrade Venture Global to Hold following speculative $17.2 billion power equipment commitments.

Peak commissioning meets a costly power detour
Venture Global trades at 8.1 times 2026 cash profit with Plaquemines near contract switch and a new $17.2 billion power plan. I see $10.2 billion of 2027 cash profit and $13.03 value, so I stay at hold.
